Now Then, You Dogs
Let's See What Sort of a Morning It Is

Certainly my dual memoir, that of both my life and that of my dogs, would indicate that canines have indeed been a powerful presence from my earliest childhood memories of Bonzo to current retirement years with Tinker.
My aim is to pay tribute to those dogs, each and every one, with whom I have been privileged to share my life. They are a host of different breeds and personalities that have been an inspiration and an education. Their love and companionship has been constant through the highs and lows of my colourful life.
They worked hard for me too, my Labradors demonstrating the value of team work when picking game on shoot days.
Here is a blend of social history and personal recollections including observations of the beauty of nature and my connection with it as I walked with my dogs.
