About the Author

Rosemary Redway

I grew up in the Industrial West Riding of Yorkshire. I made nursing my career and later relocated to rural North East Yorkshire. While there I wrote my book A Candle for the Atlantic relating my six-month voyage across the Atlantic as a deckhand and medic in 1992 during the Columbus celebrations.

I have always been powerfully drawn to the Great Outdoors and to adventure.

Now retired to an idyllic riverbank abode in the Scottish Borders.
